Republican club gathering Oct. 6

The next Avon-Avon Lake Republican Club Breakfast will take place 8 to 9 a.m., Oct. 6 at the Sugar Creek Restaurant, 5196 Detroit Road in the Sheffield Village Plaza.

“No agenda but a free exchange of ideas about current events with likeminded concerned Conservatives,” the club stated in a news release.

Lorain County Port Authority Director Jim Miller will also talk about their activities.

Future breakfasts will occur on the first Wednesdays of the month to help attendee get to know their fellow Republicans and candidates-office holders may attend to socialize as well.

Each attendee is responsible for their meal.
