Clippers (55-62): Gabriel Arias had three hits, including a double and a triple, and Triple-A Columbus wrapped up its season with an 8-4 win over Toledo. RubberDuck­s (73-46): Shane Bieber pitched 3 1⁄3 innings in a rehab start, as host Akron beat Somerset, 5-4. Bieber allowed four runs, on a two-run home run and a solo shot. The RubberDuck­s rallied with four runs in the seventh inning, on a three-run home run by Jose Fermin and a George Valera RBI single. Akron advanced to the Double-A Northeast playoffs. Captains (65-55): Visiting Beloit eliminated Lake County from playoff contention in the High-A Central with a 5-3 decision. The Captains loaded the bases with no outs in the ninth inning, but a strikeout and a double play ended the game. Captains starter Mason Hickman (8-8) gave up four runs, including two in the first inning. Joe Naranjo had four hits, a run scored and an RBI. Joe Tena added three hits and a run scored. Hillcats (58-62): Low-A Lynchburg finished with a 6-2loss to host Fredericks­burg. Korey Holland had a solo home run for the Hillcats.
