James Harold Hunt

James Harold Hunt, 77, of Huron, passed away September 22, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.

James was born February 12, 1944 to the late Harold Herbert and Vivian Ilene (Lanning) Hunt. He married the love of his life, Thelma Bowen, March 6, 2003.

James is survived by his wife of 18 years; children, Loretta Lynn (Gary) McCutcheon, Mildred (Jeff) Dauchenbaugh, and Richard (Greg Reed) Hunt; grandchildren, Ceira Rumas, Amy (Braxton) Arnold, Megan (Scott) Dauchenbaugh, Jachob Dauchenbaugh, Katherine (Michael) Bixler, and Anthony (J.W.) Hunt; nine greatgrandchildren; and brother John (Sue) Hunt.

James’ family will receive friends from 12 – 2 PM, Saturday, September 25 at Wise Funeral Service with military honors to follow. A private burial will be held on a later date. James’ full obituary can be read at wisefuneral. com.
