Ava Haddix AMHERST»VOLLEYBALL JUNIOR»SETTER

On the court: Against Elyria and Avon, recorded 71assists, 25digs, nine points off of service, four kills and two blocks. Off the court: Her favorite sport to play is volleyball but her favorite sports to watch are football and basketball. One of her most memorable moments playing volleyball was going to nationals in Vegas with her club team. Haddix’s favorite school subject is math, her favorite food is Philly cheesestea­ks.

On the course: First-place finishes at the Tiffin Invitation­al and Patriot Invitation­al , finished 11th out of 293runners at the Spartan Invitation­al with a time of 18:09.0 Off the course: Favorite sports team is the Browns, favorite movie is one of the Spider-Man movies, favorite food is cheeseburg­ers.

Sam Sikorski COLUMBIA»CROSS COUNTRY SENIOR

On the course: Finished second at the Open Door Christian Invitation­al with a time of 18:58.2. Finished in 12th out of 293runners at the Spartan Invitation­al in 18:13.8.

Off the course: Sikorski’s favorite sports memories are qualifying for the state meet in track and hitting a game-winning shot in basketball. His favorite hobby is clay pigeon shooting and his favorite sports team is the Browns. His favorite singer is The Weeknd, his favorite show is “Breaking Bad” and a special talent he has is saying the ABCs backward. His nickname is “Sicko Mode” and Sikorski does plan on running collegiate­ly but has yet to choose a school.

Kayla Meier

AVON LAKE»TENNIS SENIOR»THIRD SINGLES

On the court: Meier went undefeated in the Southweste­rn Conference tournament, earning a gold medal for her first-place finish in third singles. Is 8-0in Southweste­rn Conference duals and 19-2overall.

Off the court: Outside of tennis, Meier loves going to the beach. Her favorite season is summer because she loves warm weather. Her favorite subjects in school are math and science, and Meier plans to major in biology in college. She is currently applying to colleges and hopes to play club tennis.

Katie Whitesell WESTLAKE»VOLLEYBALL SENIOR»MIDDLE HITTER

On the court: Against Bay, recorded 10 kills, six aces and five digs. Against Rocky River, recorded 13kills and two aces. Has helped Westlake to an 11-0record.

Off the court: Also plays basketball. Favorite memory from last year was beating Medina in the postseason. Her favorite show is “One Tree Hill” and her favorite drink is a McDonald’s coke. She has not chosen a college but she plans on majoring in pre-med.

Alex Werth VERMILION»SOCCER SOPHOMORE»FORWARD

On the field: Scored three goals in a 5-0 win over Tiffin Columbian.

Off the field: Werth’s favorite sports memories are on the bus to and from games with his teammates, his favorite hobbies are soccer and hanging out with friends and family, his favorite school subject is social studies, his favorite movie is “Step Brothers,” his favorite tv show is lost, and his favorite sports team is Liverpool.

Ryan Yoder AMHERST»GOLF SOPHOMORE

On the course: Yoder was 1-under par at Carlisle Golf Course against Elyria, he was 1-under at Springvale Golf Club against North Olmsted and was 3-under at Pine Brook Golf Club against North Ridgeville. Yoder finished 5-under par for 27 holes for the week.

Off the course: Yoder’s favorite sports teams are all Cleveland teams, his favorite sports memory is winning state at 11years old, his hobbies include sports and hanging out with friends. His favorite school subject is math and his favorite food is cheesecake.

Hallie Habermehl VERMILION»VOLLEYBALL SENIOR»SETTER

On the court: Last week against Perkins, she earned her 1,000th career assist. She recorded three kills, seven digs and 34 assists.
