Booker Pearson Jr. age 73 passed away Sept. 23, 2021 at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was 73. He was born on September 29, 1947.

A lifelong resident of Lorain, Booker was a graduate of Admiral King class

of 1966. He worked at the US Steel Mill in Lorain in the Rolling Mill for 41 years before retiring in 2010. A huge wrestling fan, Booker enjoyed going to watch live WWE shows with his family and never missed when Raw and Smackdown were on. He loved watching sports and

was a huge Browns, Cavs and Indians fan. He also loved horror films and comedies.

A kind man, Booker enjoyed sitting on the porch, talking to his neighbors and waving at passers-by. If he could make someone smile, he considered it a good day.

He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer and Melissa Pearson, his son-in-law Richard Haggard, his brothers-inlaw, Luis Silva and Junior Morales and his sisters-in-law Julisa Perez, Iris Morales, Carmen Morales and Irma Velez.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Booker Pearson Sr. and Annie Pearson and his wife, Mary “Tita” Pearson.

Services will be held Tuesday September 28 at 10am at Carter Funeral Home on Elyria Ave in Lorain with the burial immediatel­y following at Elmwood Cemetery.

The Celebratio­n of Life at 12:00 noon, at Carter Funeral Home Chapel at 3001 Elyria Ave Lorain Oh 44055.
