Lorain center plans clam bake

The Lorain Community Senior Center, 3361 Garfield Blvd., announced it is having a drive-thru Clam Bake by Pogie from 5:30 to 7 p.m., Oct. 15.

The cost is $40 per person and $15 for extra dozen clams. The menu is: New England clam chowder, dozen clams, handful of mussels, grilled lemon- herb chicken, corn on the cob, baby redskin potatoes, coleslaw, roll and butter.

Reservation deadline is Oct. 7, and all dinners must be prepaid — cash or check only — by the deadline date. Call 440288-4040 or stop in to make a reservation.

All proceeds to benefit the center.
