Clearview School District accepting applications for board vacancy

The Clearview Local Schools Board of Education is accepting applications for a vacancy.

According to a news release from the Board of Education, the successful candidate must reside in the Clearview Local Schools district.

The vacancy is a result of the resignation of board member Darlene Baker, who moved out of the school district, the release said.

Baker resigned and her resignation was accepted, according to the release.

Applications for the post are available at the Board of Education office located at 4700 Broadway in Lorain from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., or the school district’s website at www.clearview.k12.oh.us.

Deadline to return applications is noon, Oct. 5, according to the release.

Appointment to the board will be completed by Oct. 30, the release said.
