Genealogy group to hear from expert

The Oct. 11 online meeting of The Lorain County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society will feature Katherine Schober, a German genealogy translator, author, and speaker.

In her presentation “The Magic of German Church Records,” she will demonstrate how to get information out of the records without knowing how to speak German.

Attendees can learn how to extract the exact information they need from German Church records that will tell them all about their German ancestor.

This online program begins at 7 p.m. and is open to members and the public.
