Fisher-Titus updates visitation rules

-

Fisher-Titus will allow one designated visitor for coronavirus-positive hospitalized patients, according to a news release from the Norwalk hospital system.

The new policy began Oct. 4 where visitors are permissible for one hour per day during either time block of 10 a.m. to noon or 4-6 p.m., the release said.

Visitors will be asked to wear the proper personal protective equipment, which could include an ear loop surgical mask, goggles or face shield, gown and gloves, according to the release.

In addition, visitors are asked to exit the facility immediately after visitation and not go to any other area including the café or gift shop, the release said.

Those who are unable or unwilling to follow this new guidance will not be allowed in-person visitation, according to the release.
