Danbury Senior Living in North Ridgeville to restrict visitations

An increase in coronavirus cases at a senior living center in North Ridgeville has caused it to restrict visitation at the facility, according to the Lorain County Board of Health.

Danbury Senior Living, 33770 Bagley Road, made the decision on its own, and was not advised by the county to do so, said Erin Murphy a public information officer for the Lorain County Board of Health.

“It does appear they are restricting visitation,” Murphy said.

According to the Ohio Department of Health, there have been 1,180,209 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ohio since the start of the pandemic and 22,490 Ohio resident deaths attributed to the virus.
