Linda “Lynn” Gail Rivera of Elyria, OH passed away on October 9th, 2021 at the age of 71. She was born on November 30th, 1949 in Yukon, West Virginia where she grew up.

She graduated from Big Creek High School in War, West Virginia and St Joseph Hospital School of Practical Nursing in Lorain, Ohio. She worked as Licensed Practical Nurse.

Lynn was a diehard football fan, a dedicated and compassion­ate nurse, an avid bowler, and a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the American Legion. She enjoyed vacationin­g at the beach, and enjoyed spending time with friends and family and her grandchild­ren.

She is survived by her son, Mark W. Rivera (Gene Seigworth) of Buffalo, New York; daughter Teresa L. Kaurich (Michael) of Lorain, grandchild­ren, Jamie M. Rivera, Kelsey R. Kaurich and Cassidy L. Kaurich, great grandson, Finn Michael Kaurich, and her sister Carol (William) Kell of Beckley, West Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her father, Emmett Akers; and her mother, Lettie (nee Lamie) Smith and a brother, Eddie Dean Akers.
