Tower City Center in Cleveland plans special events for May

Spring Fling Extravagan­za takes place at Tower City Center in Cleveland May 7.

The 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. event is free to the public. It will free activities for all ages.

Jugglers, balloon twisters and other circus-like entertaine­rs will be walking around interactin­g with guests and teaching their various techniques.

There will be a Butterfly Selfie station, where guests can take photos for social media in front of the rainbow pinwheel backdrop with an assortment of props. The photos can be printed on site for guests to take home.

The Spring Fling will provide classic games like hopscotch, mirror me and tic-tac-toe for younger guests to enjoy. Cornhole and giant horseshoes will also be provided.

The Spring Fling will have crafts for children to create their own flowerpots and design custom butterfly suncatcher­s to take home.

The Spring Fling is one of many events at Tower City this month.

On May 14 and 15, Sneaker Expo will showcase Cleveland streetwear and offer music, food, drinks, and live raffles. It will run from noon to 5 p.m. both days.

On May 21, Bubble Extravagan­za will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Guests can experience live bubble themed shows with an experiment station and bubble-themed activities throughout the day.

“This May, Tower City Center is the place to be,” said Kiersten Becht, assistant account executive for Falls and Co. “From a spring fling and a sneaker expo to a bubble extravagan­za, you certainly won’t want to miss out on any of the free, family-friendly fun.”
