Fisher-Titus opens Family Medicine and Cardiology office

Fisher-Titus’ new Family Medicine and Cardiology office in Bellevue had its opening day March 6, according to a news release.

Fisher Titus Family Medicine — Bellevue extends Fisher-Titus’ reach of primary care to the western part of Huron County.

The office is located at 521 N. Sandusky St. in Bellevue, and is home to three providers.

Dr. Kim Knight has practiced family medicine in Bellevue for 35 years and continues that legacy by joining Fisher-Titus, according to the release.

Throughout his over 40 years of experience in the medical field, Knight has cared for a wide range of patients in his career and treats for whole body wellness.

As he slowly begins to wind down his career, he said he is looking forward to how Fisher-Titus will allow a new generation of physicians to serve Bellevue, the release said.

Dr. Samuel E. Ross has joined the new Bellevue office alongside Knight.

Ross has worked in Bellevue in the past and has spent the previous few years at Fisher-Titus Family Medicine — Wakeman.

He said he enjoys treating patients and their families throughout every stage of life and has a particular interest in helping patients reach their weight loss goals.

Jodi Schwab brings over a decade of nursing experience and over five years of experience as a nurse practition­er to Fisher Titus Family Medicine — Bellevue, according to the release.

Schwab is skilled in managing chronic conditions and acute illnesses, the release said.

She also has experience as a nurse practition­er in both obstetrics and gynecology, according to the release.

Cardiology also will be available at the new Bellevue

location with Dr. Karen Wiarda, the release said.

Wiarda brings over 10 years of experience in cardiology, lifestyle medicine and obesity medicine.

She will be available for cardiology care at the Bellevue location two days per week, the release said.
