the 3rd annual Memorial Day Parade and Barbecue. Meet at South at 9:00am to receive candy and organize. Leave at 9:30am to line up, parade starts at 10:00 am. Parade begins on Court Street to Broad Street east on Broad Street to Washington Avenue North on Washington Avenue to Harrison Street east on Harrison Street to Ridge Lawn Cemetery. Parade ends at Ridge Lawn Cemetery at the intersection of Harrison and Glenwood . After the Parade South Baseball Club members will meet at the Elyria Parks & Rec South Park for fun games and food.

Monday, May 29, 2023 Vermilion Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony

Memorial Day ceremonies take place in Vermilion, Ohio annually. A Vermilion Veterans Dedication takes place at Exchange Park, on the corner of Main Street and Liberty Avenue, at 8:30 am. At 9:15 am a Veterans Dedication takes place at Maple

Grove Cemetery at 8303 Cemetery Road. The Memorial Day Parade kicks off in downtown Vermilion at 10:30 am at Liberty Avenue, ending at Victory Park. At 11 am a Memorial Day Ceremony will be held in Victory Park at the corner of Main Street and Ohio Street. A luncheon will follow at Vermilion Amvets, 1517 State Road. The Amherst Memorial Day Parade will kick off at 10 a.m. Units will begin their march at Washington & Cleveland Ave. (by the High School). A ceremony will take place following the parade at city hall. Please, no political displays. Contact Gerri Wrice 440-7141213 for more information.

Avon Memorial Day Parade will take place at 9AM. Parade will start at the Avon Senior Center and travel east down Detroit Rd and end at our Veterans Memorial, behind the Post Office.

Service will immediately follow the parade at our Memorial.

North Ridgeville Memorial Day Parade and Service

The parade will begin at 9:45am at the Senior Center and travel down Bainbridge Road and conclude at Ranger Stadium with the Memorial Service in association with the North Ridgeville Lions Club and VFW Post 9871.

Monday, May 29, 2023 Oberlin Veterans organizations cordially invite the public to the 2023 Memorial Day Ceremony 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, May 29, 2023 at Wright Memorial Park, 17 West Vine Street, Oberlin. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be held inside Oberlin Elementary School, 210 North Park Street, Oberlin. The event will feature speakers, musical selections and other honors for veterans.
