RIVER NATURE TOURS

Cruise the shores of the beautiful Black River on an all-inclusive tour of Lorain’s waterfront areas. This two-hour trip includes a tour of the river, harbor, and a pass by the historic Lorain Lighthouse. Learn about the wildlife that lives in the area, and maybe even catch a glimpse of a bald eagle, while listening to a narration provided by the captain! Cost: $20 Sunday, May 28 – 5pm

KIDS RIVER CRUISES

Learn about Lorain’s waterfront with your little one(s) while on this kid-centric river tour! The route and information mirror our River Nature Tour but is more kid-friendly featuring a round of eye-spy, bubbles to keep and a coloring page to take home. Cost: $20 Tuesdays June 27, July 11 & 25 at 3:30pm

HISTORY EXCURSION

Brush up on Lorain’s past and learn the importance the waterways played in the development of the International City. This history tour is narrated by a Lorain Historical Society member and cruises past the Lorain Lighthouse and other landmarks along the Black River. Imagine what life was like in the early days of Lorain while passing the sites of industrial giants, American Shipbuilding and United States Steel, and witness the rebirth of wildlife preserves on the Black River. 2 hours Cost: $20 Fridays and Sundays at 2pm. June 2, June 4, June 16, June 18, July 7.
