Annual Community Trivia Night is Nov. 10

The Oberlin Heritage Center will host its annual Community Trivia Night on Nov. 10 at the First Church in Oberlin United Church of Christ, 106 N. Main St., according to a news release.

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the contest will begin at 6 p.m., the release said.

Families, friends and individual­s are welcome to compete in this friendly game of wits.

Kurt G. Sarringhau­s is returning as the premier sponsor; ARRC One is returning as a co-sponsor; and Kevin and Max Greenwood are returning as the masters of ceremony, according to the release.

Food and refreshmen­ts will be provided, the release said.

No knowledge of Oberlin needed to be a contender.

The cost is $20 for adults and $18 for Oberlin Heritage Center members; and $15 for youth and $13 for Oberlin Heritage Center youth members, according to the release.

The early bird special is $5 off per adult or $4 per youth if you and your teammates register before Nov. 3, the release said.

Team captains can register their whole team at once or advise their players to register themselves, the release said.

The Oberlin Heritage Center will be in touch with the captains as soon as they register, the release said.

Teams this year will be limited to eight adults, whether they’re playing or not, according to the release.

Children younger than 18 years old don’t count toward the team limit, but still need to register, the release said.
