• Thomas Woodson threw four first-half TD passes, Conor Hundley ran for two scores and visiting Akron (3-3, 1-1) capitalize­d on turnovers to beat Eastern Michigan (1-5, 0-2), 47-21. Woodson was 14 of 22 for 222 yards, with TD passes of 9 yards to Imani Davis, 22 and 39 yards to Jerome Lane and a 1-yarder to Josh McNeil.

• Matt Johnson completed 33 of 39 passes for 450 yards and five touchdowns to lead Bowling Green (4-2, 2-0 MAC) to a 62-38 win over visiting UMass (1-4, 0-1). Travis Greene rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries and was one of five different players with a receiving touchdown for the Falcons.

• Host West Virginia State scored the go-ahead touchdown on a 9-yard pass with 55 seconds remaining, sending Notre Dame College (1-5, 1-4 MEC) to defeat, 32-29. Falcons QB Malik Grove threw for 335 yards and three touchdowns. D.J. Greene (South) rushed for 91 yards.

• Host John Carroll (4-1, 3-1 OAC) got back in the win col- umn with a 62-14 victor y over Wilmington. Jake Schaefer threw four touchdowns passes. Ro Golphin (Gilmour) rushed for 107 yards and two TDs, and Marshall Howell (Benedictin­e) caught two TD passes.

• Host Case Western Reserve (4-1, 4-0 PAC) scored 40 or more points for the four th straight week, and the Spartans beat Waynesburg, 45-14. Sophomore QB Rob Cuda ran for three touchdowns and threw for three more.

• Host Mount Union (5-0, 4-0 OAC) had three players rush for at least 100 yards in a 51-7 victor y over Ohio Northern. Logan Nemeth had a career-high 142 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Bradley Mitchell followed with 114, and QB Taurice Scott added 106. The Purple Raiders, who won their 98th consecutiv­e regularsea­son game, could move up to No. 1 in the polls after Wisconsin-Whitewater lost to Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

• Senior QB Tyler Moeglin threw for two touchdowns and ran for another as Baldwin Wallace (3-2, 3-1 OAC) beat visiting Marietta, 38-0.
