For the record: It has been a banner season for the Panthers already. They tied Solon for the Greater Cleveland Conference title and won the program’s first playoff game since 1993. The challenge for fifth-seeded Euclid is now to go on the road and beat fourth-seeded Westervill­e Central. ... Euclid dominated Austintown-Fitch last week, not only with a 356-yard offensive effort, but more so with a defense that gave up only 95 total yards — and three total yards passing. ... That aggressive Panthers defense, including linebacker Brandon Young (110 tackles), safety Aaron Berry (five intercepti­ons and end Jaylen Nolden (12 TFLs, six sacks) is aggressive and ball-hawking. ...
