Quail has new golf director, assistant pro
Concord Township country club features two 18-hole courses
The start of a new golf season at Quail Hollow Country Club is marked by the arrivals of James Paige and Drew Ward.
Paige is the new director of golf at the at the 36-hole complex in Concord Township. Ward is the new assistant golf professional.
“I’m excited to be back here in what I consider to be home, Northeast Ohio,” said Paige, who grew up in Richfield Township and was a multisport standout at Revere High School.
The 28-year-old Paige graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with bachelor’s degrees in Resort & Hospitality Management and Professional Golf Management. He also has PGA Certification.
Paige came to Quail Hollow after a three-year stint as members head professional at PGA National Resort & Spa in Florida. His previous work stops were at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin and Whisper Rock in Arizona.
“I’m very lucky to have an extensive background at multi-hole, multi-component golf facilities. That will help me make sure our members and guests have satisfying experiences at Quail Hollow,” Paige said.
Ward, a Michigan native, is a 2013 graduate of the Golf Academy of America in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. His previous work stops were in the
Dallas area at the Trophy Club and Walnut Creek Country Club.
“The goal is to be attentive to the needs of members and resort guests as they play these two fantastic courses,” Ward said.
Quail Hollow Country Club is owned by ClubCorp of Dallas.
