Kirtland resident graduates program
Sam Coso of Kirtland graduated from Vincennes University Industrial Maintenance Training Program to become a service technician in the CNC machine tool field. He is a 2017 graduate of Kirtland High School, and the son of Matthew Coso and Susan Coso.
Concord Township resident earns BS
Brian Capella, a resident of Concord Township, graduated from Northwestern University on June 16, with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering.
Capella is the son of Allison Capella and Bob Capella.
He graduated from Riverside High School in Painesville Township.
Mentor resident a part of celebration
Shania Simko of Mentor was among the over 200 Dean College students to participate in the 2017 NFL pregame celebration held at Gillette Stadium on Sept. 7.
Over 200 Dean College students, including Arts and Entertainment Management (AMGT), Business, Dance and Sport Management majors, participated as stunt card group members, banner holders and dance performers as the New England Patriots faced the Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL opener.
This is the second opportunity for Dean College to participate, having previously performed in the NFL pregame in 2015.
