Chardon Schools Foundation sets auction

An auction to benefit Chardon Schools Foundation welcomes donations.

The Chardon Schools Foundation announced it will be on the air live March 10 with the foundation’s annual Live TV Internet Auction.

CSF members are actively soliciting donations for the event with the hopes of matching or exceeding past year’s success, according to a news release.

The live auction starts at 5:30 p.m. on G-TV, Channel 1020, Channel 1025 and www.csfauction.org. Items are being added to the website daily so those interested can check out all the items before bidding, the release stated. Internet bidding can be done at any time up until the boards close March 10.

The bidding will continue with boards introduced, revisited, and then closed with the final boards closing sometime between 10:30 and 11 p.m. Winning bidders will be notified that night or the following late morning.

All items may then be picked up from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 11 at Park Auditorium, 111 Goodrich Court.

The foundation is still in need of fun, exciting, useful, practical, beautiful, functional items of all types and varieties, the release stated. Call 440-4878653 to make arrangemen­ts for a pick-up.

Deadline for donations is March 3 and all donations are tax deductible.

The Chardon Schools Foundation is a nonprofit corporatio­n that funds grants for Chardon schools, teachers and students.
