Woman arraigned on burglary charge
A 36-year-old Ashtabula resident accused of illegally entering a structure in Madison Township in August faces a felony charge in Painesville Municipal Court following her arraignment there March 13, court records show.
Misty Colon, who lives at 1922 E. 41st St., faces a second-degree felony burglary count. She is being held on a $2,500/10 percent cash or surety bond with the option of being released on a personal recognizance bond if her grandmother co-signs for her release, Colon’s arraignment paperwork states.
If convicted, she could get up to eight years behind bars.
Colon is due back in court for a preliminary hearing March 19, according to her court file.
