Don’t tamper with Second Amendment

-

If you want my guns you cannot have them.

What I would be willing to give you is my vote and my tax dollars, but only if you agree to hold officials civilly liable and criminally responsible for not doing their jobs.

With so many red flags and outright proclamations over social media from most of these shooters, these senseless killings could almost always be avoided.

If anyone fails to pass on information regarding someone’s mental status, violent background or open threats on the internet, they should be held responsible.

So many from the left these days are so far off the mark on how to deal with this tragic topic.

First of all, we need to secure our schools with a two-tier entry system.

If more tax dollars are needed, I’m sure most people would be willing to invest in their children’s safety.

So don’t come after my constitutional right to own a gun until you hold the Hollywood elitist and gaming industry executives responsible for their role in these tragic and senseless killings.

Taking away my constitutional right to protect myself, and my home, is not an option.

Second Amendment supporters will never give up that right because it would not solve the problem, it would only embolden criminals and the mentally unstable individuals who totally disregard the laws that are already in place.

As long as the liberal left continues to provide sanctuaries where criminals can hide and enter this county unvetted, I will never give up my right to own a gun and protect myself and my home.

You cannot have my guns. Jeff Lose Fairport Harbor
