Margaret P. Shortle (nee Prasse)

Margaret P. Shortle (nee Prasse), age 95, of Lyndhurst, passed away April 9, 2018, at TriPoint Medical Center in Painesville. She was born January 11, 1923 in South Euclid. Her house was the neighborhood gathgarpainting ering place. She enjoyed sewing, dening, and many crafts like plates for the South Euclid Historical Society. She was an active member of Brush Alumni Community. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. She was an officer at South Euclid Savson, ings & Loan from 1941 to 1955.

Survivors include her daughter, Sally Shortle Miller; James A. Shortle (Elizabeth); 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and son-in-law, James Krzywicki.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Shorand tle; daughter, Amy L. Krzywicki; sister, Alberta Branes; brothers, Herbert, Frederick, and Melvin Prasse.

Friends and family may call Sunday, April 15, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Maher-Melbourne Funeral Home, 4274 Mayfield Rd. (at Belvoir Blvd.), South Euclid, OH 44121.

Services will take place at St. John Lutheran Church with Vicar Gary Dittmar officiating. Burial in St. John Lutheran Cemetery.
