Bonnie A. (Raleigh) Wyar 72 of Conon cord Township, died peacefully Thursday June 21, 2018 at Hillcrest Hospital, Mayfield Heights after a courapancr­eatic geous three year battle with cancer. She was born June 1, 1946 in Uniontown, PA.

After earning a Master’s Degree in Education from Kent State University she taught as an elementary teacher in the Mentor Exempted Village Board of Education from 1967-1999 at Fairfax school. She loved her stuElement­ary dents and had a gift of positively touchmeeti­ng ing many lives. She was an avid reader, enjoyed people and traveling to places like Australia, Japan and Italy.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years: John “Jack” Wyar, siblings: Elaine (Tom) O’Hern, John (Wanda) Raleigh, many brother and sisters-in-law, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Preceding Bonnie in death are her parents: Hector and Marian Raleigh.

Her family will receive friends 3-7 pm Monday June 25, 2018 at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, Ohio 44060.

The funeral service will be 10 am Tuesday June 26, 2018 at Body of Christ Community, 38057 Erie Rd. Willoughby, Ohio 44094.

Interment will be in Concord Twp., Cemetery, Concord Twp., OH.
