Demchuk throws three TDs in Benedictin­e loss

• Nick Demchuk threw for 198 yards and three touchdowns, but visiting Benedictin­e fell to Shaker Heights, 23-21, in non-conference play. Demchuk now has eight touchdown passes through two weeks for the Bengals (1-1). • Jacob Brown threw for 131 yards and a touchdown, but Berkshire lost to host Grand Valley, 41-21, in nonconfere­nce play. Ryan Pennypacke­r ran for 97 yards and a touchdown for the Badgers (1-1). • Brush bounced back from a Week 1 loss to defeat Collinwood, 23-6. The Arcs are now 1-1.
