Swing Dance event set for Dec. 7

“Hep­cat Re­vival” will per­form at the Dec. 7 Bain­bridge Swing Dance at the Bain­bridge Town­ship Town Hall, 17826 Chilli­cothe Road.

The Swing Dance, with live per­for­mance, be­gins at 9 p.m., pre­ceded by a one-hour swing dance les­son at 8. Ex­pe­ri­enced and non-ex­pe­ri­enced dancers are wel­come, and this pub­lic, fam­ily-friendly event is open to all ages.

No part­ner is re­quired for the les­son or the dance.

Ad­mis­sion is $10 for youths ages 9-17, $15 for adults, $35 per fam­ily (not friends), and free for those 8 years old and younger. Ad­mis­sion in­cludes the les­son and live per­for­mance and dance.

“Hep­cat Re­vival” is seven-piece blues band per­form­ing mu­sic of the likes of Louis Prima, Big Joe Turner, Cab Cal­loway and Louis Jor­dan, as well as their own com­po­si­tions.
