Girls basketball All-Ohio for D-I, II announced

The All-Ohio girls basketball teams for Divisions I and II have been announced. See the honors for the top area players in those divisions.

Three area players came away high honors on March 13 when the Ohio Prep Sports Writers Association released the All-Ohio teams for girls in Division I and Division II.

Euclid senior Constance Chaplin and North junior Destiny Leo were named first team Division I AllOhio, while in Division II, Gilmour senior Annika Corcoran earned first-team status.

A number of others also got recognition.

In Division I, Euclid’s Alexis Reese, Kaitlyn Kinczel and Abby Carter were all honorable mention selections.

In Division II, Beaumont junior Carly Perusek and Perry sophomore Madyson Hacking were named third team All-Ohioans. Chagrin Falls’ Bella Dalessandro was named as a special mention honoree, while Beaumont’s Lydia Gattozzi, Geneva’s Jordan Vencill and NDCL’s Emma Liberatore received honorable mention listings.
