Oakland University

Ronnie Krsolovic of Concord Township graduated from Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Mich. on April 26 with a bachelor’s degree in Integrative Studies with Conciliar Honors.

He was a member of the baseball team and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee for Oakland and the Horizon League.

Bluffton University

The following area students graduated during Bluffton University’s 119th annual commencement ceremony on May 5:

• Becky Boban of Madison, earned a bachelor’s degree in Art and Writing and a second bachelor’s degree in Writing. Boban was the recipient of the Writing Distinguished Scholar Award, the Creative Writing Award, and graduated as a member of the 2018-19 Pi Delta Society.

• Erika Motiejunas of Mentor earned a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education.

• Aryn Preston of Painesville, earned a bachelor’s degree in social work.

Whitman College

Concord Township native Nathan Krebs participated in commencement proceedings at Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington, on May 19.

A graduate of University School, Krebs graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Music (History) from Whitman.

Nazareth College

Nazareth College in Rochester, N.Y., announced that Elyse Began of Mentor has been named to the dean’s list for the Spring 2019 semester.

A student’s grade point average must be at least 3.5 or above, and they must complete 12 credit hours of graded work that semester in order to be included on the dean’s list at Nazareth.

Belmont University

The following students achieved the Dean’s List at Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn., for the Spring 2019 semester. Eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C.
