Chardon Corn Roast set for Sept. 15
The Kiwanis Club of Chardon announced the annual Corn Roast will again be held in conjunction with the Harvest Handmade Market being sponsored by the Chardon Square Association.
The Corn Roast will take place 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sept. 15 on the Historic Chardon Square.
The Chardon Kiwanis will be providing fresh sweet corn from hometown favorite Sage’s Apple Orchard and other items such as a sausage sandwich, which was first introduced last year.
“The money raised through the Corn Roast helps support the Kiwanis club programs throughout the Chardon area,” said club member and event chairman Jim Rayl.
