Wickliffe church flipping pancakes

Vineyard Community Church announced it will be hosting a pancake breakfast fundraiser from 8:30 to 10 a.m., March

8, at the church, 1928 E. 300th St. in Wickliffe.

Donations will go to help support all the outreaches the church does in its community, according to a news release.

The breakfast is open to the public and all are invited to stay and enjoy the 10 a.m. church service.

Library out to help United Way

Mentor Public Library is asking the public to help local children by dropping off new and unopened packages of underwear,

both boys and girls, at its Main, Lake and Headlands branches.

The library will collect donations from March

9 to April 8. The clothes will be donated to United Way of Lake County who will make sure that they go to families who need them, according to a news release.

The Main Branch is located at 8215 Mentor Ave. in Mentor, the Lake Branch is at 5642 Andrews Road in Mentor-onthe-Lake and the Headlands Branch is at 4669 Corduroy Road in Mentor.

Munson sets date for indoor flea market

The Munson Township’s Indoor Flea Market will take place 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., March 21, at the Munson Town Hall & Fire Station Bay, 12210 Auburn Road.

The public is invited to come and browse for that

special treasure, a news release stated.

Geneva-Madison Knights plan potluck

The Geneva-Madison Knights of Columbus Council 5286 Fourth Monday Potluck Social will take place at 6:30 p.m., March 23, and welcomes all adults.

Katy of Behm Funeral Homes, a specialist for pre-need burial planning, will be the speaker.

Attendees are asked to bring a covered dish or tray to share a suggested eight to 10 servings. The program follows the potluck. Attendees are also asked to dress for the weather.

The council is located at 6113 N. Ridge Road W. in Geneva. Doors open at 6 p.m.
