K of C Mass for Life: In celebratio­n of the Christian feast of the Annunciati­on of the Lord, the Knights of Columbus GenevaMadi­son Council 5286will celebrate a Mass for Life. The Mass will take place at 7 p.m. March 25 at the Council home hall, 6113 N Ridge Road West Geneva. The Council invites the participat­ion of any and all interested in the cause of life. The celebrant will be the Rev. Sean J. Donnelly, pastor of Immaculate Conception Parish, Madison. The feast celebrates the Angel Gabriel’s appearance to the Virgin Mary and his announceme­nt that she had been chosen to be the mother of the savior of the world. This feast also celebrates Mary’s fiat, which means “let it be” in Latin—her willing acceptance of the news. The Annunciati­on is observed almost universall­y throughout Christiani­ty, especially within Anglicanis­m, Catholicis­m, Lutheranis­m and Orthodoxy. This feast has also been designated by the Internatio­nal Knights of Columbus as the Day of the Unborn Child.

Lenten Prayer Share: Share your faith and gratitude as you silently pray for the needs of others listed on the prayer boards at the Willoughby House of Prayer, 4091 Erie St., Willoughby. Drop in as time permits. It is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Prayer times: If you or someone you know is dealing with and struggle or illness in body, mind, or spirit and would like to be prayed with, consider joining for one of the following prayer times at St. Gabriel Church in Concord Township. All opportunit­ies for prayer will be held in the chapel except for March 9 after the parish mission which will be done in the main church; March 9 — at the conclusion of the Parish Mission; March 14th — after the 8:30 Mass; March 20 — after the 11 a.m. Mass; March 22— after the 9:30a.m. Mass; March 29 — after the 9:30a.m. Mass; April 3 – after the 11 a.m. Mass. Dinner, reverse raffle: St. Patrick Church, 16550 Rock Creek Road, Thompson, is holding its Dinner & Reverse Raffle on March 14.
