Expert advises on helping kids cope with coronavirus concerns
With the coronavirus dominating the news, parents may want to keep a closer eye on their children’s time online in the coming weeks.

Operating under a statemandated policy that prohibits sitdown dining, area restaurants are devising systems which will allow their customers to order meals on a carryout basis.
Some are trying to keep their servers employed by processing and packaging orders, assigning them to serve customers in their cars or delivering orders to their homes or places of employment.

Geauga SWCD grant available to teachers
The Geauga Soil and Water Conservation District announced it is now offering grants for the 2020-21 school year to increase awareness, knowledge and appreciation of agriculture in the youth of Geauga County.
The $1,000 grant will be awarded to kindergarten through 12th grade core education teachers, according to a news release. It will be for teachers whose innovative classroom projects use agricultural concepts to teach reading, writing, math, nutrition, science and/or social studies as well as to encourage a partnership between the Geauga lot of hours for (them) to get drawn into the social media posts and news storm related to the virus,” she said. “This is especially hard on children and teens already prone to anxiety or worry.
