There comes a time when you are at a crossroad in your life.

Finally, you think you’ve turned the corner… only to find it’s a dead end.

Or a goal is just about in your hands… and it is abruptly taken from your grasp.

Perhaps, with each step forward…you get pushed back four steps.

“What do I do?” you may question, “Which way do I go?”

Indisputab­ly, I say, “Go forward!”

Instead of sitting around and being depressed, pick yourself up, because: Life has a bigger plan for you. Greater is coming. There’s still another goal for you to reach.

This is a turning point. Roadblocks have been put into your way to direct you onto a better path. God has another place for you. A path that is truer to the purpose God intends. Therefore, do not allow your faith to be shaken. Never lose heart or give in to bitter trials. Trust in the Lord, for some wonderful opportunit­y lies just around the next bend in the road.

You are a conqueror, a champion. Remember that those who have had extraordin­ary accomplish­ments also have had crushing defeats. We must anticipate obstacles. But know that if life hands us a trial, it also hands us the strength and ability to overcome that challenge. Stay open to new possibilit­ies. Blaze new paths. And be ready to act when opportunit­y shows its face. God can put a single idea into your mind that could revolution­ize your life and the lives of others.

Years ago, I read a compelling story about a woman who had worked in corporate sales for years, and time and again she was unfairly passed over for promotion. So, after 25 years, she decided to resign and with the life lessons she learned, she was going to write a book on how to run a good company. Then, she had an idea: “Instead of writing a book, wouldn’t it be great if someone actually ran that sort of dream company?”

At the age of 48, this newly widowed woman, with $5,000, started her business. Many people forecasted that she would fail, but she never wavered or paid attention to the negative prediction­s. Instead, the woman followed her own heart and with strong character, pressed forward past the boundaries. Believing God was her guide, she began her
