Leadership Geauga County elects board officers, trustees
Leadership Geauga County welcomed new Board officers and trustees at its recent July board meeting.
Officers for the 202021 year are President Susan Kruger of Lake Heath; Vice President Glen Peck of Kinetico; Treasurer Andy Bushman of Progressive Insurance; and Sharon Roediger of Laudato & Company, according to a news release.
Kruger is a graduate of the Leadership Class of 2009 and most recently cochaired the Adult Program Committee. She is serving her second three-year term on the Board.
“I am both humbled and excited to be in the position of president, following the fine work of past presidents Matthew Emrick and Eric Wachob,” Kruger said in the release. “Despite the highs and lows of the last few months riding the ‘corona coaster,’ Leadership Geauga had an outstanding 25th anniversary year. We will build on that success.”
Trustees re-elected for a second term include Kruger as well as Matthew Emrick of Junction Auto Family; Rebecca Klein of the Geauga County Sheriff’s Office; and Kimm Leininger of Geauga Growth Partnership. Individuals elected to serve new threeyear terms include Lisa Crilley Mallis of Impactive Strategies and Alice Munn of Industrial Tapes, Inc.
Leadership Geauga County has been building bridges between the public, private, and non-profit sectors with annual programs that seek to inform, educate, connect, and inspire seasoned and future decision-makers of Geauga, the release stated.
The organization recently completed its 25th anniversary Year by being named “Outstanding NonProfit Organization of the Year” by the Chardon Area Chamber of Commerce.
