Leaders accepting ‘4 Under 40’ nominations
Applications being taken through Nov. 25
The Emerging Leaders of United Way are accepting nomination applications for their “4Under 40” Young Professional Awards.
The Emerging Leaders of United Way of Lake County are accepting nomination applications for their third annual “4 Under 40” Young Professional Awards.
Applications are being accepted now through Nov. 25.
According to UWLC, the “4 Under 40” awards seek to recognize Lake County’s “best and brightest outstanding young professionals for their hard work and achievements” in the areas of leadership, community involvement, entrepreneurship and professional accomplishment.
Nominees must live or work in Lake County and must be between the ages of 21- 40 years old during the year ending Dec. 31, 2020.

Winners will be recognized by the Emerging Leaders during a virtual ceremony in January.
“Lake County is filled with so many driven and talented young professionals,” said Emerging Leaders Chair Bryan Thomas of
Mentor-based Lighthouse Advisers. “We look forward to recognizing the best of the best.”
T he mission of the Emerging Leaders serves to be “a catalyst for change in the lives of Lake County youth through leadership, advocacy, knowledge and education in order to facilitate positive behaviors that will create tomorrow’s leaders.”
The group welcomes new members interested in volunteering their time to impact lives in the community.
