Funeral service for Joanne D. (Gronert) Drury, 86, of Willowick, will be 1 PM Friday, February 19, 2021 at Bethel Lutheran Church, 32410 Willowick Dr., Willowick.

In keeping with the family’s wishes, a viewing will be held from 12- 1 PM, Friday prior to the service at the church. Due to Covid concerns, Joanne’s family will not be greeting any guests. You are welcome to still come and pay your respects. Social distancing protocols will be enforced and masks are required.

Joanne passed away peacefully on February 11, 2021. Born November 5, 1934 in Cleveland, Joanne lived in Willowick most of her life.

Joanne was a homemaker and went back to work later in her life at FCSLA, retiring in 2016. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, and daily devotional­s. She was an active member of Bethel Lutheran Church, where she was involved in Ladies Aid, the counters, and choir. She truly enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren.

Survivors include her children, Ron (Teri) Drury, Carole (Tom) deHaas, Ann (Mario) Picciano, and Robin (Enzo) Calabrese; grandchild­ren, Marie (Eric) Villa, Seth (Rachel) Drury, Aaron Drury, Thomas and Heather deHaas, Nicole and Alyssa Picciano, and Jon, Amber, and Nick Calabrese; great-grandchild­ren, Ean, Micah, and Magdalyn Villa; brother, Albert “Butch” (Jean) Gronert; brother-in-law, Jim (Diana) Drury. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Carl T. Drury.

Final resting place will be in Whitehaven Memorial Park, Mayfield Village.
