Edinboro University celebrated the academic success of nearly 600 students during virtual undergradu­ate and graduate commenceme­nt ceremonies in December.

Associate and bachelor’s degrees were conferred upon 264 undergradu­ates and master’s degrees and post-graduate certificat­es were awarded to 315 graduate students.

The following local students earned degrees:

Katelyn M. Stevens of Ashtabula, earned a Master of Arts in Counseling.

Stephanie A Criss of Jefferson, earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

Jennifer Ebersole of Madison, earned a Master of Education in Teacher Leadership.

Hannah M. Brentar of Concord, earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administra­tion.

Ashley M. Bayer of Willoughby Hills, earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administra­tion.

Renee Marshall of Willowick, earned a Master of Social Work.

Robin A. Marshall of Willowick, earned a Master of Education in Teacher Leadership.

Tyler D. Jarvis of Willowick, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

Tae’Lor Windham of Richmond Heights, earned a Master of Arts in Counseling.

Kallai Krivoy of Geneva, earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics.

University of Findlay

The dean’s list for the fall 2020 semester at the University of Findlay has been announced. To earn this achievemen­t, a student must attain a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Baldwin Wallace University

Students from the area were among 13 student leaders welcomed to the legislativ­e and judicial branches of Baldwin Wallace University’s student government during the fall 2020 semester. The following students were appointed:

Matthew Perry of Mentor a graduate of Mentor High School majoring in hospitalit­y and tourism management and marketing, was appointed to the position of Student Senator.

Alexis Watkins of Mentor, a graduate of Mentor High School majoring in psychology and communicat­ion studies, was appointed to the position of Student Senator.

Sophia Madge of Eastlake, a graduate of Willoughby South High School majoring in theatre design and technical studies, was appointed to the position of Student Senator..
