Lake Humane Society sets date for ‘Pup Crawl’ fundraiser

-

The fourth annual Pup Crawl: Unleashed! Fundraiser for Lake Humane Society will take place June 5 in downtown Willoughby.

The Pup Crawl is a bar crawl with special “pup crawler” guests at each bar — the dogs of Lake Humane Society, according to a news release. The event, taking place from 1 to 6 p.m., will include the chance to win prizes in various raffles, a bake sale, drink and food specials, and more.

The participating bars in downtown Willoughby will be announced closer to the event date, the release stated. In 2019, over a dozen bars participated and over 800 attendees helped raise over $30,000 for the homeless animals in the Humane Society’s care.

Admission is $30 in advance and $35 the day of the event at the door. Admission includes a t-shirt, drink koozie, face mask, and various featured menus at participating bars.

There are only 800 tickets available, and attendees must be at least 21 years old. All COVID-19 policies and procedures in place at the time of the event must be followed by all attendees, the release stated.

Companies are invited to sponsor one of Lake Humane Society’s events like Pup Crawl. These events reach thousands of Northeast Ohioans and help the organization continue to save lives and provide programs and services to the community, the release stated.
