Marylin Grace Garside, 82, of Madison, Ohio, passed away on May 5, 2022 in her home following a brief illness. At the time of her death, she was surrounded by the love of her family and was at peace.

Marylin was born on December 16, 1939 in Rahway, NJ, to the late Willard Kinsey and Ethel May Jennings.

Marylin is survived by her children, Cynthia Kelly (daughter in law), Nancy and Dave Assenmache­r, Mary and Eric Bryson, Kenneth and Bridget Kelly, and Carole and Chris Frank. She is also survived by her step children, Gail Roselund, Sue and Kevin Inman, David and Karen Garside, Janet and Fred Wilcox, and Danny and Sandy Garside and her siblings,

Hope Larson, Barbara Sharkey, Allison Jennings-Rathbun, James Jennings and Nancy Spano. She is predecease­d by her husband, David Garside Jr., her son, Robert D. Kelly, her daughter in law, Cindy Kelly and her brothers, Kenneth and Bob Jennings.

Marylin was the proud and loving grandmothe­r to many grandchild­ren and great grandchild­ren. Marylin’s love for her family and friends was showcased in everything she enjoyed doing. She loved cooking, baking, knitting and gardening. What she enjoyed doing most was sharing everything she created and her wisdom with the people she loved. She traveled often and always included family along the way. She was independen­t, strong and loving. Her kindness and generosity was known to all who knew her.

A memorial service is being planned for Saturday July 23, 2022, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Madison, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Hospice of the Western Reserve (hospicewr.org) or to

the American Cancer Society (800-227-2345).Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfie­ld Road, Geneva, Ohio assisted the family with arrangemen­ts.
