Senior Bowl will again be presented by Hooley House
The News-Herald and Hooley House are again teaming up to present the premier high school football senior all-star game in Northeast Ohio.
The News-Herald is proud to announce Hooley House is again the presenting sponsor for the 2022 Senior Bowl. The game is scheduled for Friday, June 17 at Mayfield’s Wildcat Stadium.
“The partnership between The News-Herald and Hooley House has been together for well more than a decade,” John Kampf of The News-Herald said. “John and Richie Reece and their staff at Hooley House has worked with us hand-in-hand for many ventures over the years, including the Senior All-Star Classic in basketball and the Senior Bowl.”
Hooley House has been the presenting sponsor of the Senior Bowl since the game was revived in 2010. The 2020 and 2021 games were wiped out by the coronavirus pandemic, but this year’s game promises to be bigger and better than ever with seniors from across The News-Herald coverage area strapping up one last time to represent their high schools.
Roster information will be sent to schools May 8.
Coaches for this year’s game are Harvey coach Mick Mohner and longtime Kirtland assistant Rossi Santo.
A parent-player meeting is set for Sunday, May 15 at 6 p.m. at Mayfield’s fieldhouse. Among the topics discussed that night will be uniform sizing, parental consent forms and practice information for game week.
Practices will be held from 5-7 p.m. for one team and 7-9 p.m. for the other from Sunday, June 12 to pregame walkthrough on Thursday, June 16.
The News-Herald will send roster information and more details to coaches this weekend. For further information, email JKampf@ News-Herald.com.
