W-E Public Library taking part in Library Card Sign-Up Month
Willoughby-Eastlake Public Library, along with the American Library Association and libraries across the country, will be celebrating Library Card SignUp Month throughout September.
To commemorate this special occasion, Willoughby-Eastlake Library would like to hear from patrons about why they love the library and what keeps them coming back, according to a news release.
Those interested are asked to submit a one- to two-minute video talking about how the W-E libraries have positively impacted their life.
Submissions can be sent to love@welibrary.info and may be featured across the W-E Library social media platforms.
During the month, libraries work together in a national effort to ensure every child sign up for a library card. Through access to technology, media resources and educational programs, a library card gives students the tools to succeed, the release stated.
At Willoughby-Eastlake Public Library, patrons will find a wide variety of educational resources, programs and events, digital services, adapted programming for children with varying learning styles and abilities and more, the release stated
“Willoughby-Eastlake Public Library continues to adapt and expand our services to meet the needs of our community.” said Communications and Outreach Coordinator Michelle Hudson in the release.
