Scholarships available
• The Lake County Fair Board is offering a $1,000 non-renewable scholarship. This is the 23rd year for this scholarship, and it is open to any graduating high school senior residing in Lake County. This student must be a member of a Lake County 4-H organization or a member of the Lake County Junior Fair Board and must provide the required paperwork as stated in the scholarship packet.
The scholarship packet can be picked up from the students’ high school counselors, by contacting the Fair Office or from the fair website: www.lakecountyfair.org.

• The Lake County Gamma Iota Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International is pleased to announce the availability of a $1,000 Grant-in-Aid to assist with college costs for a qualified future female educator.
Delta Kappa Gamma Society International promotes professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education. The Lake County chapter supports this mission by offering this scholarship to female college students who meet the following criteria:
• Are currently registered as a college sophomore or junior
• Are enrolled and excel in a college Teacher Education Program.
• Have a home residence located in the Ohio cities of Mentor, Eastlake, Kirtland, Timberlake,
• Wickliffe, Willoughby, Willoughby Hills, or Willowick.

Deadline for applying is March 12, 2023. All applicants will be notified of the committee selection by March 24, 2023.
