Scholarships available
• The Lake County Fair Board is pleased to announce the sponsorship of a $1,000 non-renewable scholarship. This is the 23rd year for this scholarship, and it is open to any graduating high school senior residing in Lake County.
This student must be a member of a Lake County 4-H organization or a member of the Lake County Junior Fair Board and must provide the required paperwork as stated in the scholarship packet.
The scholarship packet can be picked up from the students’ high school counselors, by contacting the Fair Office or from the fair website: www. lakecountyfair.org.

• Lake County Farm Bureau is offering scholarship opportunities to students pursuing posthigh school education. The scholarship amount is determined by the number of acceptable qualifying applications.
Parents/guardians or applicants themselves MUST be a Lake County Farm Bureau member.
Membership must be maintained and paid upon receipt of grades in order for scholarship monies to be awarded. Applicants must prove enrollment or letter of admission to a two or fouryear institution of higher learning.
Applicants must be considered a full-time student, with a renewable award for pursuing undergraduate as well as graduate studies. Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average 3.0. Recipients and/or a representative MUST attend the county Farm Bureau Annual Meeting in the fall.

• The Friends of Euclid Creek is pleased to announce the availability of its 2023 annual $1,000 scholarship in environmental studies. This scholarship aids one deserving college or high school senior in his/her pursuit of a degree in environmental studies, or environmental fields related to watershed health.
There may be a second $1,000 scholarship awarded to another deserving student with Board of Director approval.
Applicant evaluation is based on background and potential to contribute to environmental sustainability.
