Chamber hosting luncheon HR event

The Eastern Lake County Chamber of Commerce will be holding the luncheon human resources event “Leading a Brain-Healthy Workplace — An HR Event for Everyone” on June 27.

The program, taking place 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Painesville Township Park Community Center, 1025 Hardy Road, will feature Scott Warrick, a practicing employment law attorney, human resources professional and best-selling author.

Warrick will define a brain-healthy work environment and what leaders must do to create that workplace, especially in the postpandemic era, according to a news release. He will discuss the impact of chronic stress, how people damage their brains daily, and what leaders and employees can do to protect and repair their brains.

It is approved for one hour of SHRM & HRCI General Credits, and attendees will also receive nine hours of 2023 SHRM & HRCI business credit videos free.

Cost is $30 per person for chamber members and $35 per person for non-chamber members. The price includes lunch from Upscale Eats.
