Morgan Cicek KENSTON>> GIRLS BASKETBALL SOPHOMORE>> GUARD

On the court: In two games, scored a combined 34 points, including four 3-pointers, and had 10 rebounds, seven assists and two steals.

Off the court: “Morg” has been playing basketball since she was in second grade. “My favorite memories are making new lifetime friends through basketball, gamedays and team dinners.” Favorite subject has always been math. Favorite food is tacos, and loves listening to all kinds of music, depending on the day. Favorite team is Iowa women’s basketball. “I have loved to watch their high-energy games and I am inspired by Caitlin Clark and what she has done over the last few years.”

Makel Harrison MENTOR>> BOYS BASKETBALL SENIOR>> POINT GUARD

On the court: In a win over Strongsvil­le, had 12points, 15assists, four rebounds and three steals.

Off the court: “Kel” hasn’t decided on a college yet. Favorite food is chicken and rice. Favorite color is red. Favorite teams are the Cavaliers and Browns.

Ryan Kehres BENEDICTIN­E>> HOCKEY JUNIOR>> CENTER

On the ice: In a 2-2 week, had a hat trick and three assists against Hudson, an assist against Amherst, a goal and an assist against Mentor and four goals and an assist against Olmsted Falls.

Off the ice: Lyndhurst resident says one of his favorite sports memories is winning the Baron Cup last year. Loves hanging out with friends and family. Likes to watch movies, play golf and go to the beach. Favorite movie is “Good Will Hunting.” Loves Greek food.

Maria Goske BEAUMONT>> GIRLS BASKETBALL SOPHOMORE>> POINT GUARD

On the court: In a 3-0 week, went 9-for18 on 3-pointers, including five as she scored a career-high 20 in a win at Padua. Also averaged 3.0assists, 2.0steals and 2.0 deflection­s.

Off the court: “Bot” is a Cleveland Heights resident. Favorite basketball memory is beating Walsh Jesuit for the first time. Hobbies include playing Fortnite with her teammates, shopping and hanging out with friends. Favorite foods are Starbucks spinach and feta wrap, and Mitchell’s coffee chocolate chunk ice cream. Enjoys watching horror movies, “The Vampire Diaries” and just started watching “Suits.”

Danielle Grande MAYFIELD>> GIRLS SWIMMING/DIVING SENIOR

In the pool: In a dual against Beachwood, won 200 free and swam legs on the first-place 200medley, 200free and 400 free relays. Against Akron Hoban, won 500 free with a 5:08.48, which is the second-fastest time in the Northeast District in Division I and top-10in Ohio to date this season.

Out of the pool: Plans on swimming in college and studying some type of science to become a forensic scientist. “My favorite memories from swimming throughout the years include getting the 500free WRC record as a freshman, watching our coach jump off the diving board twice, our girls team tattooing ourselves with fun things at dual meets my junior year, getting the Mayfield varsity record at districts and placing first, and being able to experience the energy and thrill of state.”

Noah Blough MADISON>> WRESTLING SENIOR>>165 POUNDS

On the mat: He went undefeated at the CVC championsh­ip with four pins. It’s his fifth first-place finish in a tournament this year. He is 29-6.

Off the mat: Will study and wrestle at Lake Erie College. Favorite sports memory is spending time with his teammates. Hobbies include eating, watching TV and playing video games. Favorite subject is science. Favorite food is Reese’s Cups. Favorite movie is “Cars.” Favorite show is “Breaking Bad.” Favorite team is the Browns.

Riley Becker BEAUMONT>> GIRLS SWIMMING/DIVING SENIOR

On the board: Won the Crown Conference diving competitio­n. Also completed an undefeated season in duals by winning the Hathaway Brown-Laurel-Beaumont tri with a score of 215.25. Set the school record earlier this year, and her tri score would have also bested the previous Beaumont record.

Off the board: Shaker Heights resident is the diving captain. “Diving has been such a joy to do for the past two years. My favorite memory is when I did my last dive at districts, which pushed me through to state in my first year of diving. My coaches and teammates have made an everlastin­g impact on my life, and I am so grateful for all of them for being so supportive. During practice, we love to listen to music.”

Avery Budrys Rini LAKE CATHOLIC>> GIRLS BASKETBALL JUNIOR>> GUARD-FORWARD

On the court: In a win over VASJ, had 22 points, five rebounds and three assists. In a win over NDCL, had 18 points, seven rebounds and four assists.

Off the court: “Aves” says her favorite sport is basketball. Favorite sports memory is beating NDCL twice this year. Likes to paint and draw. Also plays volleyball. Favorite subject are English and history. Favorite foods are watermelon and sushi. Favorite show is “The Office.” Loves the Cavaliers.
