TLC’s New ‘Road Trip’ Series!

How fun is this?!... Sometimes we travel to places far away and forget that there’s a whole lot of enjoyment close to home that we’ve never experienced! For those who like the shorter tours and to not go long distances, we have designed a trip that visits some of the wonderful parts of Ohio we love most. And. if there’s enough interest, we’ll move to another part of Ohio and do some exploring there next year (Part 2). And... if there’s enough interest in Part 2, we’ll put together Part 3... well, you get the idea! But for now, check out the fun itinerary below and plan to join us on a special TLC Road Trip with the TLC Gang! ~ We begin at the Nelsonville Depot for a ride on one of our favorite railways, the Hocking Hills Scenic Railroad! The historic train follows the peaceful Hocking River and stops midway at a pioneer log village! * Then on to Cincinnati and the 3rd largest river in the US, the Ohio River which borders 6 states * Set sail on a delightful Dinner Cruise aboard the ‘Queen City Riverboat’ – enjoy a buffet meal and then sit back and watch the world float by from the top deck! * One of our favorite places, enjoy time to explore the top-rated National Museum of the U.S. Air Force in Dayton – so much to see here, never enough time! *

An afternoon in scenic Put-in-Bay! Off we go from Port Clinton on the Jet Express to South Bass Island with a lunch coupon and tram ride of the island included. Such a beautiful, relaxing place to visit – the views of Lake Erie are pristine! * We’ll pop in at Entertainment Junction, the world’s largest model train display – take a video on your phone to send to your grandkids! * Enjoy reserved seats at La Comedia Dinner Theater for their excellent production of “The Wizard of Oz” – such a great, timeless show! *** See?!
