So Very Excited About This Tour – The four years we’ve offered it, everyone has LOVED It – some have even taken it more than once!! ~~ Calling all Girlfriends, Moms & Daughters, Sisters, Red Hat Ladies, Grandmas & Granddaughters, and anyone who loves having a SUPER-FUN time!! ~ Everything on this tour has been hand-picked with ‘girly-fun’ in mind, and the entire 3 days has merriment and surprises woven all through them! Way too much to tell here, so PLEASE call for the full flyer… but here are some brief highlights to give you an idea of what a great time we’re gonna’ have: Two nights at the beautiful Essenhaus Inn in Middlebury, Indiana with indoor pool & hot tub * Visit Davis Mercantile in Shipshewana * Take part in a hands-on program at the Quilt Shop learning how to make quilt note-cards – fun! * Be guests for a ‘Haystack Dinner’ at the Yoder’s and experience a real Amish Buggy Ride * Embark on a guided “Brown Bag Backroads Tour” with a bunch of fun visits to local stores where you’ll go away with a little gift for your own bag! * Create a Wooden Quilt Block at Teaberry’s w/ LaVern & Rachel - son Isaiah helps, too! * Old Order Amish ‘Quilt Garden’ and Katie’s Noodle-making Shop! * Shop at Coppes Commons and enjoy a Rocket Ice Cream Treat * A special afternoon at ‘The Barns of Nappanee’ (formerly Amish Acres) for a Farm-style lunch followed by one of their delightful productions – this year it’s one of our favorites, “The Music Man”! * At the Nappanee Center, meet local artist, Chelsie, and paint your own stencil art piece with her warm and encouraging help * Sit down to a traditional Amish Thresher meal in an Amish home, and later play a game of “Jones” (think Bingo) as little Seth calls the numbers – so fun! * On your “Heritage Trail Tour”, visit Yoder’s Dept. Store, the Red Barn Meat & Cheese village, watch an Amish rug weaving demo … and learn how to make delicious Cinnamon Rolls ~ Yum! * Enjoy a Soup & Salad meal on a real Amish Farm * Again, please get a flyer for more details!
