Here we visit the Charleston Tea Plantation and embark on a Trolley Tour to explore the scenic grounds that produce American Classic Tea – super-interestin­g! * On we go to Tybee Island. If you’ve not experience­d the ambiance and relaxing lifestyle of a pristine seaside resort, you’re going to fall in love with what’s known as ‘Savannah’s Beach’! Five miles of sand dunes wave their sea oats amidst endless views of the Atlantic Ocean – perfect for sunning, walking, or whatever pleases you best! * Tradition reigns at Hotel Tybee which overlooks the Ocean and has been providing island-style Southern hospitalit­y since 1889. Unpack once, and enjoy your morning coffee on your private balcony with sounds of the ocean and views of enchanting beauty * One our guided Island tour, see highlights such as the Historic Light Station & Museum. Climb the Tybee Lighthouse for panoramic views (or watch from below – ha!) * Visit Cockspur Island and the Fort Pulaski Nat’l Monument where the Union Army successful­ly tested rifled cannon during the Civil War * Spend a grand day on Hilton Head Island nestled in the heart of SC Lowcountry with a guided tour so we don’t miss a thing! * A special event will be a thrilling Dolphin Watch Cruise to see these majestic creatures frolic and show-off for us * The Coastal Discovery Museum illustrate­s all it takes to sustain the natural coastal wonders of this area and preserve their presence for generation­s to come * Enjoy dinner at the Crazy Crab in Harbour Town - fun! * It’s a short way to charming Savannah (not on an island, but definitely worth seeing when we’re this close!) where we’ll view the beautiful Historic section and its antebellum homes, St. John Cathedral, quaint cobble-stoned Riverstree­t, the Ships of the Sea Museum (really neat!), and have dinner at the Pirate’s House * A special treat will be a live show at the Historic Savannah Theater (TBA) – their production­s are always excellent – we love going there! * On Port Royal Island, tucked into winding streets framed by centuries-old moss-draped oak trees, sits Beaufort, SC.
