AMERICAN MUSIC THEATER’S ‘JOY to the WORLD’: Each time our TLC folks return from this AMT production, they struggle for words to describe it - “Magical” and “Breathtaking” are just a couple we hear. ~ The ringing of church bells in a quaint town square sets the scene. Evoking the holiday nostalgia of hometown America, the stage transforms into a small-town winter carnival brimming with family, friends, and entertaining elves. Awe-inspiring music and dance, phenomenal voices, live orchestra, and holiday humor are the ingredients for this holiday extravaganza!

This gorgeous, historic theater in downtown Lancaster puts on some of the finest productions anywhere. At this writing, their 2024 Christmas show has not been announced, but it’s sure to be one of our favorites and fit right in with the theme of this tour (check our Mid-Year Mailer in the summer for the name). Once called the Fulton Opera House, it is now a designated National Historic Landmark.

SIGHT & SOUND’s “DANIEL”: We have great seats at the Millennium Theater for their newest production, “Daniel”! Completely re-done and very different from the 2002 ‘Daniel and the Lion’s Den’, new technology, new music, and a myriad of new dynamics have created a spectacular theatrical experience about one of the Bible’s most hope-filled stories. From the fiery furnace to the infamous den of lions, it is a magnificent theatrical experience.

DUTCH APPLE DINNER THEATER: Who doesn’t love a dinner theater, right?! ... and the Dutch Apple does a superior job. This Christmas they’re featuring Irving Berlin’s beloved “White Christmas”! Song-and-dance men Bob and Phil meet a sister duo and follow them to a Vermont inn. They discover it’s owned by their old Army General who fell on hard times.
